Red Spiny Plant (Philodendron squamiferum)

The Philodendron squamiferum has some really cool looking stems, covered in small, soft spines giving it a really exotic look. 

The Red Spiny Plant can grow great lengths if allowed to climb. 

The Philodendron squamiferum is a fairly easy plant to keep happy, and likes indirect bright sunlight, but will also be okay in slightly darker conditions, such as a hallway.  

These can be fairly thirst plants, and your Philodendron squamiferum likes a good soaking, but allow the top layer of soil to dry out between watering.

These can grow huge lengths, a number of meters, if allows to climb in the ideal conditions.
